Our Races

Thank you to our sponsors

Each year the club hosts the best 5k,10k and Half Marathon races. Our courses are flat and fast, superbly organised and perfect for that personal best.

We are very pleased to confirm that the 2027 edition of the Newry City Half Marathon/ 10k will take place on Sunday 30th May.

Registration for both races is not yet open but will be launching in the near future.

For now, please save the date and start planning your training. We look forward to welcoming runners back to Newry for what promises to be another fantastic day of racing.

Further information, including registration details, will be announced on our Facebook page and website in due course.

Join us on Sunday 30th May and be a part of one of the biggest and best running events of the year. With all our usual hospitality that so many of you have come back year after year to enjoy, the quality race tee, the lovely medal, the beautiful food etc etc, we’re continually striving to make things even better for you. The big news this year is that RACE BIBS WILL BE POSTED! Yes, many of you asked and we listened.

Of course there’ll be competitions and goodie bags and category prizes and a huge party atmosphere and as always many local charities will benefit from your participation. We could go on and on, but there’s plenty of time to give you all the details.

With capacity entries over the last couple of years and currently a huge demand for quality running events these races will surely sell out so avoid disappointment and sign up quickly. We even have an early bird offer in place, as well as further discount for ANI/AI members.

Thank you for your support and we can’t wait to see you all soon.
