P.I.P.S and Laganside 10K 2016

P.I.P.S 10K NEWRY

Congratulations to Chris and Laura Devine today at the P.I.P.S 10k run who were 1st male and female across the finish line, Chris kept a strong lead over 2nd place keeping nearly 2 minutes between them. Starting at Carnbane ind estate and entering the towpath towards Jerrettspass and turning at the 3mile marker and back in the road to Carnbane to the uphill finish. Laura ran a fantastic race also keeping well ahead of 2nd place, great running by you Laura..

Also well done to all our club members who raced and gained personal bests and we can see all your hard work is paying off.

Newry City Runners also took the Club trophy home as they had the first 3 runners home from the club.. This consisted of Chris Devine, Peter Linden and the amazing Duddy Parr.

Congratulations to Patricia Brown who was 2nd in her category today running in temperatures of 20 degrees and managing a fantastic 44.02, Patricia is working hard for Newry City Runners both on the track as a coach and at race days making sure all the race preparation is done properly.
