NCR success in Lord Mayors 10K

Sterling Marathon:
Congratulations to Babs, yet another PB race, this one in Sterling. Time 3:48:17.
Lord Mayors 10k:
A popular event in our calendar, this year proved to be no different with some excellent runs and PB times by NCR. Most notably Aine Fegan, 3rd lady and a super fast time of 42.38 well done Aine. 5th overall was Michael Dillon also continuing his run of good form, time 37.42. With her first 10k race Sinead Dillon recorded 1:01:21, the first of many for Sinead this year and soon to dip in under 60 minutes. All the training is paying off, times as follows; Michael Dillon 37:42, James Hughes 41.10 (PB), Damien Maguire 41.47 (PB), Aine Fegan 42.38, Tony Mc Ateer 42.41, Andy Fitzgerald 42.53, Mark Clements 43.32 (PB), Sean Smith 44.08, Noel Moan 44.10, Pat Rocks 48.04, Damian Mc Cann 48.04, Mark Copeland 48.31 (PB), Dympna Tumilty 48.32 (PB), Jackie Gilbey 51.14, Attracta Magennis 51.30, John O’Donovan 55.21, Noel Moan (senior) 58.39, Sinead Dillon 1.01.21 (PB).
Warrenpoint 10k/5k;
Again some fantastic NCR times recorded as follows: Duddy Parr 39.33, Bernard Hamill 41.48, Mike Barnett 42.15 (PB), Mark Clements 44.14, Pat Rocks 44.19, Gerald Boyle 46.19, Fiona Murphy 50.29, Lorna Murphy 52.59, Joy Morgan 52.09, Attracta Magennis 56.20 and in the 5k race Evelyn Marsh 26.31, Jennifer Mc Ateer 31.41.
Coast 2 Coast- 26 extreme:
Well done to Cathal Morgan in Newcastle who crossed the line in 4.41.13 a cracking time for this 33.3km race. This one not for the faint hearted.


The always challenging local Tri-a-Tri saw our very own Patricia Brown deservingly as 4th lady on 14th May winning her category prize. Some brilliant performances recorded on 10th, 17th and 24th May for Patricia in Aquathlon Race Series 2.
