Sunday 24th saw the annual 26 Extreme Ladies 10k race. This local popular event begins at Leitrim Lodge and mixes trail with road to finish in Kilbroney Park. NCR ladies once again did themselves and their club proud, some well earned PB’s gained.
Patricia Brown finished 4th with a fab time of 42.36, less than half a minute later Aine Fegan ran a classy 43.04 to finish 5th and claim a new PB. Sarah-Jane Beattie also in under the 45 minute, and just returning from injury did very well with her time of 44.42. Killough 10k last week, NCR Gerald Boyle ran a brilliant 44.37. Also well done to Don Travers who came 4th (1st in category) at Portaferry 10 mile race last Tuesday, time 57.35.
