Dune Half Marathon 2018:
Almost 800 runners took part in quite challenging weather conditions from start to finish. Well worth the medals at the end however and these were particularly important as they paid tribute to Andy Califf ‘Tick Tock’ Dune being one of his favourite races.
 Almost back to his best Don Travers returning from injury ran a 1:16:21 coming 5th place and winning his category. Chris Devine came in at 1:18:11 and 2nd in his category (8th place). Paddy Havern came 2nd in his category with a super run 1:25:26.
Hugh Mc Connell 1:32.41 and Michael Englishby finished at almost the same time 1:32:31, with Bernard Hamill not far behind (time unavailable).
A brilliant PB for Gerald Boyle 1:34:04, Tony Mc Ateer 1:38:38, Caoimhe Sherry took a massive 20 minutes of her PB time with a brilliant 1:42:06, Damien Maguire 1:43:29, Maciej Lega 1:48:18, Deirdre Kelly 1:48:03, Shane O’Callaghan 1:49:58, Willie Mc Cracken 1:53 and won his category, Colm O’Brien 1:55:58, Terry English 1:56:03, Attracta Magennis 1:58:29, Brendan Mc Verry 2:04:47, Damian Mc Cann 2:08:29 beside Karen Mc Elroy 2:08:30, Evelyn Marsh  2:09:33, Faye Sergent 2:09:37, Tracey Ruane 2:10:38, Michele Mowlds 2:18:02 (great job for battling to the finish line despite a foot injury well done), Jennifer Mc Ateer 2:21:09,
Miceal Haughian 2:24:38, Patricia Byrne 2:25 and Paul Mc Guigan 2:31:14.
NCR pacers included Cathal Morgan, Robbie Marsh, Barbara Fleming-Ovens, and Damian Mulholland well done to everyone involved including the Marshalls who got a bit frozen standing on the course.

Run Forest Run Antrim

Well done to Patricia Brown and Evelyn Marsh who took on the 6th race in the Run Forest Run series at Antrim Castle Gardens. The flattest and fastest of the races in the series, both ladies put in excellent performances.

In the 5k, Patricia Brown finished in 21.57, 3rd female overall and 1st in her age category, and in the 10k Evelyn Marsh continued her fantastic form with a new PB of 54.02. Well done ladies.

Stormont Cross country

It was a father-daughter affair at Stormont Cross Country as both Pat and Roisin Rocks took part. In the ladies race, Roisin finished well in 23:59, continuing her great form, and in the men’s race Pat came home in 24:16 and second in his age category. Well done to you both.

 Kilbroney Park Run #55

A new PB time for Patricia Brown and 1st lady with a speedy 23:53.
